While most clients follow a similar program structure in terms of session frequency and program duration, I am happy to make accommodations to meet your schedule and your needs. My mission is to help you any way I can to unleash your most happy and nourished self!

How it all works….

Your journey begins with a 50-minute complimentary health history where we discuss everything as it relates to your health - food choices, health concerns, career, relationships, a real focus on bio-individuality and lifestyle factors. Ultimately, we define and prioritize your health goals together. You will discover what is keeping you from living the life you desire and together we will create a customized roadmap for achieving happiness and balance in your life.

At each session we will discuss progress in relation to defined objectives and we will tweak our approach to ensure we are meeting your individual needs. I will provide you with recommendations to your diet and lifestyle that are practical and mutually agreed upon. Unlike most dietary approaches to nutrition which dwell on counting calories, carbs, fats, etc. and are difficult to maintain, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and boring discipline. At each session I will provide education on specific nutritional topics to include, but not limited to:

  • Healthy organizing, planning cooking and shopping tips
  • Understanding food labels and claims
  • Vitamins, minerals and overall benefits of whole foods
  • Conventional versus organic farming and food production processes
  • Deconstructing and addressing food cravings
  • Various diets for different genetic predispositions and blood types
  • Controversial ingredients
  • Strategies for weight loss, increasing energy and improving sleep
  • Addressing food allergies and sensitivities
  • Smart food choices for yourself, your growing baby and your family

What’s included in your program?

  • Two 50-minute appointments each month for six months, which will include a discussion of your progress, health goals, recommendations and a full set of notes
  • Monthly special events like group seminars, cooking classes and/or workshops related to health and wellness (including a supermarket trip with education on food selection and food labels and claims)
  • A variety of handouts, recipes, books, CDs, food samples and other materials
  • Open email communication between sessions to ensure a seamless transition to health
  • One complimentary kitchen/pantry cleanse

My Nutritional Philosophy:

As a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I have studied over 100 dietary theories and have adopted a nutrition philosophy unique to IIN graduates. This approach instills healthy changes for all those interested in bettering and balancing their lives by incorporating more than just the food they eat. Not only do I focus on the IIN Plate as a preliminary guide to eating whole, pure, healthy foods, (adapted from the USDA MyPlate), but I emphasize the importance of brining to light all the other factors in our lives that weigh heavily on our overall health and happiness. It is only when we consider lifestyle factors that we can create optimal health.

In my coaching practice, I encourage people to look at these aspects of life as a form of nutrition – a way to feed themselves at a much deeper level than food.

Whether it be the desire to lose weight, gain energy, curb cravings or learn to cook, I promise to meet each client where she is, to help her along her own individual journal to nurture her body and soul so that she might feel strong and empowered to be her very best.
